The plant active ingredients that we use in our preparations, in addition to being pure and cold pressed, come from ecological and organic crops.
This means that from the beginning the natural growth process of the plant is respected, its seeds were not genetically manipulated, they are plants free of chemicals and pesticides, they grow under the gaze of producers committed to the environment.
The production plants for our Rosehip oil are located on the Andes mountain range, in our Argentine Patagonia, one of the least polluted places on the planet, specifically in the towns of Lago Puelo and Cholila, province of Chubut.
The process of making this oil, which begins with the manual harvesting of wild fruits and culminates in the cold pressing of the seeds, guarantees us the purity and quality necessary to obtain a totally vegetable substance, preserving not only the properties but also also the spirit of this plant.
It is scientifically proven that Rosehip oil can reverse the morphological changes that solar radiation produces on the skin.
Its richness in unsaturated fatty acids, linoleic and linolenic acid, which participate in the regeneration of the membrane, in defense mechanisms, growth and other biological processes related to cell regeneration, make it a highly recommended oil to stimulate epithelialization in cases such as scars or for the prevention of wrinkles and stretch marks, among others.
The lack of fatty acids in the skin produces different reactions such as flaking, dryness, loss of flexibility and softness, etc. Applying Rosehip Oil on our skin produces a great contribution of fatty acids that stimulate and collaborate in cell regeneration.
In addition to acting effectively on the outer layers of the skin, Rosehip oil stimulates the innermost layers, where the cells responsible for producing collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid are located, these components provide elasticity and firmness to the skin.
Jojoba is a shrub native to the Sonoran desert, in northern Mexico. It is a very resistant and long-lived plant, finding plants of more than 100 years. The Incas attributed magical properties to it, using it as food and medicine. Also known as “Desert Gold”, Jojoba oil is extracted by cold pressing its seeds.
Our Jojoba oil is grown in La Rioja, in a small town called Bañado de los Pantanos, where different climatic and soil conditions come together, which make it optimal for growing this plant. The oil production process is also carried out there, from the cold extraction of its seeds.
Jojoba oil is a natural wax, very similar in its chemical composition to the sebum that our glands secrete. Its content in ceramides, vitamin E and linoleic acid stands out. Due to the richness and particularity of its active principles, this liquid gold that we value so much, could not be missing in our preparations.
It is made up of 96% ceramides, a natural component of the skin’s sebum, which keeps it hydrated but does not make it greasy. In oily or acneic skin it is a perfect ally to hydrate and treat without clogging the pores. In dry skin it increases hydration and maintains it avoiding water loss.
Vitamin E reduces free radicals, responsible for cellular aging. For this reason, it acts as an antioxidant, which allows to delay the appearance of skin wrinkles and combat sagging.
The linoleic acid and antioxidants present in jojoba oil help regenerate skin cells.
Organic beeswax is an ecological product, totally natural, rich in antioxidant components and vitamin A. The wax we use comes from the Chaco, northern Argentina, where a family business makes organic honey and wax within a community of traditions. ancient Native Americans. It is made by bees that feed on the great variety of flowers that exist in this Mount, known as the Impenetrable. It is one of the star ingredients in our creams for its countless benefits.
Why organic beeswax?
Beeswax made in conventional beekeeping contains acaricides, the biggest source of contamination in hives. This pesticide, harmful to humans and bees, is so resistant to wax that it is impossible to remove it.
